With this year’s Oscars ceremony just around the corner on Sunday, we’ve started thinking about the gorgeous dresses and more importantly, jewels that Hollywood’s elite will choose to wear. This year ’s awards looks set to be quite a big one in terms of fashion and jewellery. Previous years have seen stars tone down their opulent gowns and diamonds in recognition of the credit crunch, and acknowledgment of the Screen Writer’s strike and other political and global causes.
